When discovered in the Dry Creek Mine on the Shoshone Native American Reservation nearBattle Mountain, Nevada in 1993, they were not sure what it was.Because of its hardness, it was decided to send it to have it assayed andtheir suspicions proved correct; it was in fact turquoise. It was not until 1996, however, that it was finally made into White Turquoise jewelry.

Catchers
The Dream Catcher having been in existence for over 200
years, the Dream Catcher has become known for its unique and
beautiful design.
The Dream Catcher was first given to the newborn children
for restful sleep. Now it is a cherished article and a thoughtful
gift for people of all ages. Dream Catchers are delicately hand-made
by many different Native American Tribes.
According to Native American folklore, your dreams are caught in
the web - good, bad... even the ones you don"t remember. When
the first morning light hits the Dream Catcher, the bad dreams melt
away out the web holes and are lost forever. The good dreams travel
down the feathers and becomes part of the dreamer. A bead or stone in
the web is a dream enhancer which makes impossible dreams come true!
Our Dream Catchers are all handmade using leather, sinu,
real feathers and glass beads. No two dream catchers are alike each
are different like a snow flake.

KOKOPELLI is known as the fertilely God-flute player-
shape changer and is approximately 2000 years old, to this day he is
found painted or carved on the walls of ancient Native American dwellings. He
was believed to bring prosperity to anyone who listened to his
songs... His flute symbolizes happiness and joy. He would appear
after a harsh winter in the new spring and speak to the wind and
sky...In the millennium when the earth was young, the early
people of turtle Island living peacefully in what is now known as the
southwest as cliffdwellers perched high atop steep-sided mesas. They
trapped rain water and irrigated the valleys below and as farmers,
gatherers and hunters they lived in harmony with Mother and walked
softly on her back. One day they come under attack by a large unknown
force. ( possibly Athabaskins) The attackers soon realized they could
not get into the latticed dwellings. They decided to lay siege and to
starve the people into surrender. The plight of the people became
desperate. Food and water supplies ran low and they prayed to the
Great Spirit to save the children.
Then from out of no-where appeared Kokopelli, playing his
flute and danced right though the invaders before they realized what
was happening gathered the children behind him. He led them to the
steep edge of the cliffs at the east end of the mesa, facing the
morning sun. His flute became silent. As the parents hugged and
kissed and said farewell to all the children, Kokopelli shape-
changed them into beautiful Monarch butterflies and they flew off to
freedom....each spring these beautiful butterflies return to turtle
Island from there breeding grounds deep in the safe jungles where the
Aztec and Maya people once flourished. The disappearance of the
Ancient Ones remails a mystery to this day. Akkeeia

Medicine Wheels are believed shadows from the ancient
world and sacred circle are combined in the "Medicine
Wheel". The circle is representative of the sacred circle which
symbolically encompasses all physical and metaphysical forces. Plains
Native Americans believe that the circle is sacred because the Great Spirit
caused everything in nature to be round. The Sun & Sky, Earth
& Moon., everything that breathes is round, like the shield. The
lines across and down represent the four cardinal directions. Many
have been found here on Turtle Island configureated with stones laid
out on the ground by pre-historic people. Akkeeia

Sage can be used as a seasoning, or tea, or
smoked, or as a healing salve. Has many medicinal properties. Sage is
mostly used in smudging ceremonies. Sage is burned in this way to
drive off evil spirits, feelings, or influences, as well as to keep
bad spirits from entering the area where a ceremony takes place. The
floor of the sweatlodge is covered with Sage, and participants rub
the leaves on their bodies while in the sweat. Sage is also commonly
spread on the ground in a lodge or on an alter where the Peace Pipe
touches Mother earth. Secret Sage purifies objects wrapped in it.
Sage wreaths are also placed around the head and wrists of Sundancers.

From the Trail of Tears to the Blessing of a Lifetime
The legendary Trail of Tears - when, over a century ago, Cherokee Native Americans were forced from their rightful homeland to walk across thousands of miles of treacherous, untamed U.S. wilderness. Against incredible odds, barely two-thirds of the tribe managed to survive the perilous journey.
To aid them along the hazardous trail, the Native Americans picked up the walking sticks along the way. Once they reached their new homeland, the brave survivors broke their sticks and decorated them with brightly-colored feathers, horse hairs and other natural materials. These Blessing Sticks came to symbolize the three elements of success and prosperity - Health, Happiness and Harmony, considered by the Cherokees to be the greatest blessing in the world. The bending, crooked shape of the stick represents life's journey - never perfect or straight.
These beautifully-decorated Blessing Sticks were given to new mothers, new brides, or anyone in the tribe in need of blessing, and the ceremonial tradition today.
Authentically hand-crafted Blessing Sticks are now available to give as unique spiritual gifts to loved ones or to own as a piece of history for yourself.

BY AKKEEIA
One summer a long time ago, the seven sacred
council fires of the Lakota Sioux came together and camped. The sun was
strong and the people were starving for there was no game.
Two young men went out to hunt. Along the way, the two men met a
beautiful young women dressed in white who floated as she walked. One man
had desires for the woman and tried to touch her, but was consumed by a
cloud and turned into a pile of bones. The woman spoke to the second young
man and said, Return to your people and tell them I am coming.
This holy woman brought a wrapped bundle to the
people. She unwrapped the bundle, giving to the people a sacred pipe and
teaching them how to use it to pray. With this holy pipe, you will walk
like a living prayer she said. The holy woman told the Sioux about the
value of the buffalo, the woman and the children. You are from MOTHER
earth, she told the women. What you are doing is as great as what
the warriors do.
Before she left, she told the people she would
return. As she walked away, she rolled over four times, turning into a
white female buffalo calf. It is said after that day the Lakota honored
their pipe, and the buffalo were plentiful (This I believe is from JOHN
lame Deers telling in 1967).
Many believe that the white buffalo calf, Miracle,
born August 20, 1994, symbolizes the return coming together of all of
mankind on to the red road together in oneness of the rebirth of the
sacred peace pipe, so as to bring back balance and harmony to Mother by
smoking in prayer of one heart, one mind and one spirit. That is my
vision
